September 2010 – International Summer School on Gender Medicine in Berlin
The Institute of Gender in Medicine (GiM) in Berlin, Charité-Universitätsmedizin, headed by our Partner Prof Vera Regitz-Zagrosek, organizes a Summer School on Gender Medicine together with all partners of EUGIM (European cUrriculum Gender In Medicine) project from 20-24 September.
Seven universities from 6 European countries (Innsbruck/Austria, Berlin/Germany, Budapest/Hungary, Sassari/Italy, Maastricht and Nijmegen/the Netherlands, and Stockholm/Sweden) work in this project as part of the Erasmus project.
At the Summer School, internationally esteemed experts in the field of Gender Medicine will lecture on their specific research field and latest findings. Various topics concerning gender differences will also be discussed in clinical case presentations, round table discussions, and poster sessions.
