EUGeneHeart consortium has successfully integrated into the 2nd annual European Heart Failure Winter Research Meeting of the Heart Failure Association of the European Society of Cardiology (HFA of the ESC).

Thanks to the efforts of HFA members Gerd Hasenfuss, Ajay Shah and Jean-Luc Balligand, a complete scientific session has been dedicated to EuGeneHeart studies. This special session is chaired by Gerd Hasenfuss (EUGeneHeart Coordinator) and Karin Sipido (Vice-EUGeneHeart Coordinator).

Apart from this dedicated session, many consortium members are invited as session chairpersons or invited speakers in the meeting, which demonstrates the excellence of our consortium. All these efforts have significant enhanced the visibility of EUGeneHeart project.

Furthermore, Elmar Nimmesgern (Project Officer EUGeneHeart) will also give an introduction to the EU FP7 program.

This 2.5 day event is a high-quality research meeting on Integrative Basic Science relevant to Heart Failure, comprising a maximum of approximately 100 participants.
