After 5 years, our Integrated Project (IP) draws to a close… but not the excellent work and co-operation of all partners, demonstrated by EUGeneHeart’s spin offs and ongoing joint commitment to cardiac research!

The internal General Assembly opens the meeting on 2nd December at University of Louvain Medical School UCL-FATH hosted and sponsored by Jean-Luc Balligand, Head, Pole of Pharmacology and Therapeutics Institut de Recherche Experimentale et Clinique (IREC).

This internal meeting will be followed by a two-day international EUGeneHeart Symposium from 3 to 4 December, presenting achievements of the IP and demonstrating its sustainability. The “EUGeneHeart and Beyond Workshop” in the afternoon of 3 December is an integral part of this symposium. Representatives, young scientists and students of the 21 partner sites, members of the Scientific Advisory Board as well as invited EU officials and international experts in the field of EUGeneHeart will attend the event, celebrating the Projects successful realisation and future collaborations exceeding EU-funding (end of funding period 31.12.2010).
